[SOLVED] Firefox doesn't recognize plugins

Hey guys,

I tried to install the flash plugin for firefox (amongst others, but this one is most important to me) using "pacman -S flashplugin". However, firefox doesn't recognize any plugins under about:plugins. I've found libflashplayer.so in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins, is that where it should be?

This seems completely trivial, but I haven't been able to find the solution myself. Any help is appreciated.

check permission of /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins . it should be 755 . same for /usr/lib/mozilla

Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Ah, that did the trick.

Many thanks for the quick response.
