[SOLVED] Can't mount NTFS drive

Upon clicking on my drive in pcmanfm's side bar I encountered this message:

A security policy in place prevents this sender from sending this message to this recipient, see message bus configuration file (rejected message had interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" member "Mount" error name "(unset)" destination "org.freedesktop.Hal")

hal and fam are started... what am I missing? I can mount the drive when I launch pcmanfm in root, and I bet I could do it from the command line, mounting it into some folder using ntfs-3g. Oh by the way if the error message was not enough info, here's fdisk...

Disk /dev/sda: 40.0 GB, 40007761920 bytes

Re: [SOLVED] Can't mount NTFS drive

For those of you just starting with archlinux:

1. Write good informative threads describing your problem
2. even after checking wiki and google, WAIT, and try stuff

I figured it out: I was not in the storage group, or the optical. checked the wiki on groups
