I'm setting up an arch laptop for a friend, so I wanted a GUI frontend for pacman. Shaman looks ideal, especially compared to its competition, but trying to get out of it minimises it to the system tray. However, it'll be running enlightenment, which doesn't have a system tray. So it just dissapears, but is still running in the background. I've combed the settings and can't find how to make the X quit it, not minimise it. Does anyone know how?

I was looking for the same option since I don't see any reason to keep shaman running after install or upgrade. But I couldn't find it.

You can use "Quit" or CTRL+Q to exit shaman. Though, I'll add an option in the next release for not having it running in the systemtray
