Abiword pulling in Times New Roman without ttf-ms-fonts?

I removed the ttf-ms-fonts library off of my system and Times New Roman is still appearing in the fonts list in everything. It turns out the Abiword is either shipping with it or symlinks to some other font on my system. I really don't want it here; It's ugly everywhere outside of Abiword. How do I lose it?

Ever find out? I just ran into the same thing. Bloody Abiword is always defaulted to it too when what I is Sans.

Well actually net search says it's not actually MS TNR, but some open rip off. Directions on changing default font aren't hard to find.
