After updating these two packages today to bravely attempt to see if the kernel would boot without nolapic_timer (no success, by the way) I ran into a problem I hadn't seen heretofore. So, after connecting to the internet and trying to do anything with the internet, things go bad. I can move the cursor and open the Gnome Menu and open terminals. However, I can't really do anything other than that. Namely, trying to kill firefox, which freezes, rmmod ndiswrapper, really do anything et cetera et cetera. I think this has something to do with ndiswrapper, as it only seems to happen when I'm connected to the internet...is this a fixable problem? Anyone else experienced this? I really want to use 2.6.26, but this is a showstopper.

Does this also occur when you rollback Ndiswrapper on 2.6.26.3?

Alright, so after downgrading ndiswrapper, everything seems to be working just fine...damn these infernal regressions in updated packages! Well, I suppose someone should post a bug upstream...like me...
