GTK2 issue

http://xs.to/xs.php?h=xs331&d=08371&f=s … t-9792.png

Hello, I'm experiencing that GTK2 is showing these weird lines in the input boxes as shown in the screenshot anyone know what might cause this?

Re: GTK2 issue

I'm guessing that it's your theme. Try switching to another and see if the lines go away.

Re: GTK2 issue

I switched back to clearlooks, logged in and out, same issue.

Re: GTK2 issue

GTK2 doesn't like black metal. Try listening to heavy or progressive metal and see if it goes away...

Re: GTK2 issue

The theme you're using (Shiki-Colors, right?) requires the Clearlooks engine, and possibly also Murrine-SVN depending on which version you downloaded. Check to see if you got the one requiring Murrine-SVN and if so, try the other one.

Re: GTK2 issue

This is a bug in pixman that some people are seeing. Either downgrade to 0.11.8 or wait for a new release. This bug is known upstream, upstream maintainers are working on it.
