Fluxbox apps crash when shaded

Hell all,

If this has been gone over already and I missed it then my apologies.

I updated to the new version of Fluxbox, Fluxbox 1.1.0.1-1, the other day. After that if I tried to shade any app a time or two it would crash. At first I thought that this was a xcompmgr issue because I installed that around the same time, but I did a fresh reinstall, without xcompmgr, and it still happened.

So I removed the new Fluxbox and reinstalled the old that I had saved, Fluxbox 1.0.0. Problem gone.

Is this a known bug? I haven't managed to find anything about it yet if it is. I suppose it's possible that it was a problem with somthing else but since it went away as soon as I downgraded Fluxbox I kind of doubt that.

I downgraded sometime yesterday, so if it's been fixed since then I don't know.

I don't know anything about filing or confirming bugs, assuming this is one, so do you have any advice on that?

I see. Thanks for that.

I was also wondering if any other Fluxbox user had noticed this though? Not EVERY time, but quite frequently shading windows crash the app. No app in particular, just all of them (not all at once, just whichever one you shade).

Just to report I've had the same problem. Revert to the 1.0.0 fixed the problem, thanks for the tip .

Also using arch64 btw.

Well it seems that the problem has been fixed. I am using the newest version from the repos again and haven't had anything crash.

Does it seem to be working again for anyone else?
