Hello.
I create option to set wallpaper with Feh in Openbox menu.
First:
Create a entry in Openbox menu with:
feh --rcfile /home/me/.fehrcwall "/home/Me/MyWallpaper"And create a file with name
.fehrcwalland put in your Home.
This file is a copy of .fehrc with simple change. Just put this:
# Set the default feh options to be recursive and verbose
feh -qrNA "feh --bg-center "%f"" --title "Wallpaper" -g 320x240Now, when you click in openbox menu, image appear in small window. To set wallpaper, just press
enter.

Hm. I thought that I should get some list or something with the pictures available in ~/wallpapers, but the only thing that happens is that I got my current wallpaper in a 320x240 window.
Edit: Nevermind, me stupid. Thanks. ![]()

This doesn't work with the latest version of feh and imlib2 when trying to click on an image you get this in ther terminal;
/home/user/.fehrcwall - No Imlib2 loader for that file format
I have imlib2-1.4.5-1 installed...
I don't think you can use the --rcfile with the latest version of Feh.
Also when scrolling through the images they never keep the size of -g 320x240, they keep changing sizes.
I added a menu entry in OpenBox that I use for Feh 1.3.4 in another distro that works just fine and I'd like to be able to use in Arch, but I can't figure this out;
<menu id="apps-wallpaper-menu" label="Wallpaper">
<item label="Feh">
<action name="Execute">
<command>feh --rcfile /home/user/.fehrcwall "/home/sar/Pictures/"</command>
<startupnotify>
<enabled>yes</enabled>
</startupnotify>
</action>
</item>
</menu>
THANKS

Oh, well, posting in a thread from 2008.
Folks, remember our necro-bumping rules.
Closing.
To know or not to know ...
... the questions remain forever.
