Alexandria not working anymore

$ alexandria
Can't load hpricot, hence provider Amazon not available
ruby: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/i686-linux/gnome2.so: undefined symbol: rbgobj_gtype_to_ruby_class

Surely enough, ruby, ruby-hpricot and ruby-gnome2 are installed.
Anyone else experiencing this? Should it be submitted as a ruby bug?

Re: Alexandria not working anymore

It is already submitted upstream, see http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=8672

You can try to downgrade ruby-gnome2 to 0.16.0. That works for me.

Re: Alexandria not working anymore

I tried using this package today, but I got the same warnings that scarecrow did.  Ruby does not seem to load hpricot, and therefore the majority of the providers will not load.  I did downgrade my ruby-gnome2 package to 0.16.0, but that did not seem to have any effect.

I can not use the program unless I can use more providers than the two that are in and working now: Proxis and the Spanish Culture Ministry.  At least, I assume they are working...

If anyone has had this problem and/or has other providers working (namely Amazon and Library of Congress), I would like to know how I might go about fixing this issue.  Thanks.
