Holy mess!! Deleted all my mp3s!! Help!

I just accidently deleted all the mp3's on my FAT32 partition with a rm *... Is there any way I can recover these besides re-ripping the cds??  What can I do?  I haven't touch the computer since I entered the command.. How can I recover these rm-ed files!

Well seeing that it was on a fat32 drive you can get any number of data recovery software, such as Getdataback ( what I used to use )

There is fsck.vfat utility in dosfstools package. It supports undelete but you must give it a full path to undeleted file so it's not very usable in your situation. You could also use mundelete from sf.net but this tool just doesn't work :-)
The best option would be to start some dos/norton utilities/windows bootable floppy/cd and use undelete/unerase options. Undeleting all the files shouldn't be difficult in case of fat32.
