confine fullscreento specifik space

im using my tv as a secondary monitor and no matter the resolution it cuts stuff of the edges. I have worked around this by specify my other applications to use a specifik size however as far as i know the psx emulator i use (pSX) dont support outputing just the game unless it is in fullscreen which means i lose a big part of the game area so if there are any programs that act like wine's virtual desktop for other applications that is what im looking for

I think X can work with margins. I'm not sure though, but that's something you can try googling around with.
