Sorry if this topic has already been discussed, but I searched and couldn't find a thing. I love pacman and how you can update your whole system with one command, but for mysql, php, and apache I need some special configure options. Is there anyway to specify these through pacman so pacman can update it for me instead of having doing it myself? Thanks.

Read the forums, docs and wiki - search for abs, makepkg and srcpac. Pacman is for binary packages.
