libalpm documentation and bindings?

Hi,
is there a decent documentation for libalpm out there? I searched but couldn't find anything besides a crappy man page with not much content.
And, are there any perl bindings for libalpm? I would like to automate some stuff and don't want to re-compile everything if I need to change something.

Re: libalpm documentation and bindings?

Well, there is no complete documentation.

For Doxygen documentation see Dan's homepage: http://code.toofishes.net/
The README file shipped with source-code contains some "general" instructions.
For a working implementation I suggest you to investigate pacman (front-end) source code.

Helping make the documentation better would be most appreciated.

Re: libalpm documentation and bindings?

I downloaded the pacman source just a few minutes ago, I'm glad that there aren't much patterns used in it, making it easier to understand. If I'll manage to implement libalpm for perl (which seems quite hard at the moment) I'll (of course) work on the documentation.

Oh man, you have no clue how much I would love you if you inplemented that. May I suggest a top level name? ALPM::?
