Couldn't log into vtty, but can log into X11.

Hi everyone,

The vtty works fine until today. After loging into gnome I tried to swtich to vtty from X11 by pressing (ctl+alt+f1) and inputed my username, but then it just showed me the usage of login instead of acquiring for my password. I don't know what happened. Yesterday I changed some config files for ssh to get X11 forward correct, but I couldn't remember what I have done sad . Can anyone give me some advice on that? Thanks!! big_smile

Re: Couldn't log into vtty, but can log into X11.

When the error happens, it looks like this:

Arch linux (t61) (vc/1)
t61 login: zhe
Usage: login [-p] [username] [ENV=VAR...]

           login [-p] [-h host] [-f username]

           login [-p] -r host

and then it just turns back to the login screen again, i just couldn't log in...
