Re: [.vimrc] "invalid argument...."

here is my .vimrc. It works.

" An example for a vimrc file.

" Last change: 2006 Nov 16
"
" To use it, copy it to

" for MS-DOS and Win32: $VIM\_vimrc
" for OpenVMS: sys$login:.vimrc

" When started as "evim", evim.vim will already have done these settings.

Re: [.vimrc] "invalid argument...."

You can also try copying:

/usr/share/vim/vimrc_example.vim

The difference makes the difference.

Re: [.vimrc] "invalid argument...."

set list listchars=tab:»·,trail:·,extends:…

Try replacing the line 13 (set lcs = ...) with the line above. You need to copy the chars, they are unicode characters.

Re: [.vimrc] "invalid argument...."

hmm, i can't replace it, because when i paste it, i get:

set list listchars=tab:»·,trail:·,extends:\u2026

\u2026 -- ? is this "..." in unicode ?
but, i del this line at all, and its work ok wink
