Audacity needs libsoundtouch

My son is trying to learn some difficult riffs on his guitar so I downloaded a sample of the song he wants to learn and pulled up Audacity to slow it down for him.

It turns out the "Change Tempo" (without changing pitch) option is not available unless Audacity is compiled with libsoundtouch.  The menu options aren't even visible.

I figured I would try to build my own Audacity from source, and now I'm getting errors about undefined functions in Jack... apparently some port locking functions that Portaudio requires have been removed from the jack v 109 libraries.  So I used the --with-rtaudio option instead, and that generates even more build errors.

Has anyone been able to build Audacity with the current release of jack + libsoundtouch, so the change tempo option is usable?
