Pidgin uses out of date buddy names

I recently discovered that at least 2 of my msn buddies' names are several months out of date.
When I right click on a buddy and go "get info", this happens.
The username of this buddy is also several months out of date.

Alias: سورة الزلزلة; (Roué)
Nickname: "Look there: it is Farinata rising from the flames."; (Roué)

Blocked: No

Alias is the old name
nickname is the current name.
For some reason the old name is still here and the nickname should be the display name.
