Modprobe problem, Archlinux doesn't start after reboot!

Welcome guys,

I tried to install DVB mantis drivers for my tv card, it works under Ubuntu. But after 'modprobe mantis', arch just gone. It freeze. I restarted it and it doesn't work now. The same on my brother's laptop when I tried to install wifi drivers.

What's wrong with Arch? How I can fix it?

Try booting it with the "fallback" kernel (usually the second option in the GRUB boot menu).
