Weird problem on bootup

Hi its me again! I checked the wikis couldnt find an answer to this one so >_> Um I have a super weird problem when Arch boots up under Vbox.. when it tries to boot up from a "turn on" as in im first turning on PC.. it goes through the whole Arch Linux Core dump.. it gets to when its Checking Filesystems and it says /dev/sda2 wasnt unmounted, checking forced. It goes through this process I believe it was called e2fchk if I caught it right.. it says it fails that test I believe it said there was an error with .1% contiguous files and it reboots.. upon Reboot it actually boots.. but its still kind of weird.. The system I have setup has 2 partitions, a Swap partition and a Root Partition flagged as boot. I am willing to live with this problem but its just a lil goofy >_> any help would be appreciated.

Re: Weird problem on bootup

um i click the X button at the top of the window and hit power off machine.. should i be first typing shutdown now on Linux, then when i hit X tell it to send shutdown signal THEN power off?

EDIT: U know what that is what im supposed to do.. /dev/sda2 my root partition is supposed to unmount properly in order to shutdown without errors.. me just telling it to power off the machine is causing that error.. lol I answered my own question but thanks anyway.. now back to setting up X.org!
