It's a minor version bump. Use ABS.

Re: Firefox 3.0.3

@obsrv you should read http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AUR … NSUPPORTED

you aren't allow to upload a package which is in official mirror ([extra]) to aur.

Re: Firefox 3.0.3

Let me start by saying that the best thing to do is wait for the maintainer to update the package in question (in this case, firefox). He/she has the required knowledge and has dealt with the specific package before, so he/she know what's the best way to update it.

However, since I updated firefox's package for my own use, I though it wouldn't hurt to make them available to anyone who's interested in them as well. So if you just can't wait and you're fine with me making no guarantees about the correctness of these packages, you're free to give them a spin: [removed] & [removed]

Re: Firefox 3.0.3

We are not allowed to put it in AUR, that's why I am asking here for official upgrade.

Re: Firefox 3.0.3

To foutrelis
If you use the same xulrunner code, you will not get a real firefox 3.0.3 release.
Because the build process will use almost all the source code from the old xulrunner (which has not the security bug corrections).
You have to compile firefox entirely from its source code, without xulrunner (ie without the line 'ac_add_options --with-libxul-sdk=/usr/lib/xulrunner-devel-1.9' in the mozconfig file), to get the real release.
See the firefox-spookyet package.

Thanks for the heads up. I've removed both packages from my previous post and will wait for a new xulrunner release. smile
