I currently using Ubuntu and would like to try Arch however I don't know if my wireless card is detected with out using a wrapper or anything crazy. Ubuntu sees my card from a bare install and I would like to know if Arch will see it?
I am using a Intel 4965AGN internal card.
Anyone know?

Great - I will try Arch once I understand the 'package manager'.

Well translated from ubuntu
apt-get update && apt-get upgrade = pacman -Syu
apt-get update = pacman -Sy
apt-get upgrade = pacman -Su
apt-get install = pacman -S name_of_the_package
apt-get remove = pacman -R name_of_the_package
(If I remember correctly.... Haven't touched debian for 3 years now...)

If you wish to use the 802.11n features of your WLAN interface, you'll need kernel 2.6.27 (once it is released) for that. Archlinux will obviously offer it sooner or later. Other wireless modes should be no problem with the current 2.6.26 kernel.
Dheart's post was probably not too helpful because most Ubuntu users do not have to worry about updating, upgrading or synchronizing their package system. So if you have always used Adept instead of apt-get you'll find pacman a bit clumsy to work with. It has its virtues but it is not self-explanatory as GUI based systems usually are.
I have worked with various Linuxes on various laptop models, so I have to wish you good luck to get everything going (function keys, suspend, etc.). It is probably one out of ten laptop models where some Linux flavors work out of the box.
By the way: I do not want to disrupt your Arch-Way studies, but have you tried the new Ubuntu 8.10 beta yet? Features Kernel 2.6.27 and gave a good impression when I tried it a few days ago ...
