Booting processor 1/1 eip 3000

Hey all,

I have installed arch in fakeraid using the wiki fakeraid-howto.

Grub shows up, and when I try to enter arch linux, grub error 15 shows up.

I go into a grub command line and type root (hd0,4), and it gives the correct root partition
I type kernel /boot/vmlinuz26 and it gives me an appropriate response

however; when I type boot after this, the boot begins, and it hangs on Booting processor 1/1 eip 3000.  Any solutions?

someone please help.  This stinks that it wont work
