Cant virtualise 64-bit Vista

Just made a custom Vista installation and im trying to load it on Virtualbox but i keep getting the "unable to load 64-bit aplication" error. I dont know why though..

Im running arch64 and virtualbox_bin-2.0.2-3-x86_64. I thought virtualbox supported 64 guests now?

Re: Cant virtualise 64-bit Vista

I have the same problem..... ODDLY though, my laptop (with virtually the SAME installation of arch) allows me to do it fine.... on the system with less drive space.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Does your CPU have the VT-x/AMD-V extensions?

Do you have virtualization enabled in your bios? After you make this change, you need to power down and then power back up, not just reboot.

And I think you need to enable VT-x/AMD-V in the VBox settings, if you haven't done that.
