Suspend to disk (s2disk) and slmodem daemon (slusb).

I can used s2disk with only one problem I have a usb modem that uses the slmodem (slusb module) daemon. After suspending my system and turn it on again I have to restart slmodem daemon in order to make my modem to work. Is there any trick I can use?

Re: Suspend to disk (s2disk) and slmodem daemon (slusb).

You should setup pm-utils to use uswsusp and deal with your modem module if required, then look at /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d to see how to write your own handler for the daemon.

You need to install an RTFM interface.

I am using hibernate-script. Is there a way with it?

Sure, check out the wiki page for some hints http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sus … ate.script
