IP+samba
how can I find out a computer ip in a dumb configured samba network ?
ping has no chance, findsmb does not display it.
I know the host name, and i need that freaky ip
how do i do this ?

Try "nmblookup hostname".

I was using nmblookup -M -- - to find the master browsers, I had no ideea about this!
