VMware workstation troubles

Hi, Arch Linux forums

First time posting here, woo! I'm having trouble with VMware workstation 6.0.5, specifically I'm having trouble with getting vmnet services started. I've added vmblock vmnet and vmmon to my modules in rc.conf but for some reason the virtual networks for my virtual machine are not getting started on boot. To fix this right now I just run vmware-config.pl each time I need to use the workstation after a reboot but it gets old since I have to recompile three modules each time.

So my question is: How do I get the network services to start? Specifically I'm looking for a way to start vmnet-bridge and vmnet-natd. I tried running them manually but no matter what arguments I give they never seem to accept them.

Thanks in advance,
nto.

Re: VMware workstation troubles

I don't have any modules set in rc.conf but in the daemons section I have @vmware. Hope this helps

I tried removing the modules from the modules section and adding @vmware but it doesn't appear to be working, thanks though.
