2.6.27 can't find its modules

Hello,

ArchLinux does not work correctly since that kernel update to 2.6.27. It seems like it can't find any of its modules. It searches them(according to the error messages) in /lib/modules/2.6.26-ARCH(yes, really dot-twenty-six). I made a symlink pointing 2.6.26-ARCH to 2.6.27-ARCH(where all modules are really located, just to test if it works), but the kernel just says "module foo: unknwon module format".
Uname also says it is 2.6.26-ARCH.

The system boots. But I don't have network devices, my nvidia driver and everything that is located in a module.
It was a good idea to test updates in a LVM snapshot I think *g*.

Any ideas? Thank you in advance wink.

Just to clarify that you have rebooted with the new kernel - this tends to solve that problem.

Re: 2.6.27 can't find its modules

Yes, sure. I rebooted with the new kernel after pacman installed it. I also tried to revert to my old kernel(everything works, expect the nvidia driver because its built for the new kernel) and reinstall the new kernel. And again, it can't find its modules.

Update:

Argh sorry, my fault. /boot was set up wrong, so the new kernel+its initrd were stored in /dev/tank/testing(LVM volume), not /dev/sda1(/boot where grub reads from). Result: Grub loaded the old 2.6.26 kernel.
Problem solved, thank you.
