Re: IRQ Errors at Boot

IRQ 9 is one of the "free" IRQ's that does not have anything specific associated with it.  Try adding irqpoll to the Arch kernel boot line in /boot/grub/menu.lst and see if that fixes it.

Re: IRQ Errors at Boot

I fixed it by debugging my DSDT.

Re: IRQ Errors at Boot

Do you mind posting how you did that? I'm seeing the same thing on my laptop.

Edit: Did you find any errors? I Didn't find any errors, but 4 warnings. All of them beeing "Possible operator timeout is ignored ^"
I can't seem to find a pre fixed Dsdt for my notebook either. http://acpi.sourceforge.net/dsdt/view.p … er=Toshiba  (Mine beeing Sattelite M45 s265)

Re: IRQ Errors at Boot

These are the exact same warnings I got when using multiple PCI video cards. I fixed the problem using some combination of modules and parameters but then I upgraded the kernel. This broke the whole thing and downgrading my kernel back to what it was before didn't fix it.

I had a couple of errors and some warnings.
I read though the relevant parts of the ACPI specs and figured it out from there.
