[Upstream Bug] Kaffeine over smb:?

There appears to be some serious filename mangling going on.
This has only started fairly recently but I am not sure exactly when so whether this is a kaffeine problem or some other update breaking things I don't know.

This is REALLY starting to frustrate me, so any input would be welcome.

Update:

Seems this is a kaffeine regression, no problem with 0.8.5. > upstreaming :-)
