mounting additional partitions

'kwikdisk' in earlier versions could mount disk partitions that were not included in the original distro installation.  It appears that any disk mounted in Arch installation will formatted, which is not what I want to do.
Not being familiar with uuid identifiers, can you tell me of a mounting utility or tell me how I can find the uuid of a disc for manual mounting.  A search of wiki failed me.

Thanks,
Bill

Re: mounting additional partitions

You can use the command:

ls -lF /dev/disk/by-uuid/

to sort disks bij /sdX and UUID

For more information on how to mount you can see the wiki for FStab:

http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Fstab

or

The beginner Guide (paragraph /FStab)

http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Beg … tc.2Ffstab

I hope it works for you.
