External sound card in XP VBox install

I installed my external sound on my XP install in VBox. I did the usual things I would do to make it work. I disabled the default sound card, I installed the drivers. But it doesn't work. Is there some setting in Vbox or Arch I need to make it work.

Sound card is EMU 0404 usb
