I know that
sudo pacman -Qdtdetects all unused dependancies, but how do you remove all of them at once? I've tried using a pipe (|), but that came out unsuccessful. What's the correct way to do it?
Any other tips on speeding up/cleaning the filesystem of junk?

Why not
pacman -Rcs $(pacman -Qdtq?

There's no point in cascading that because -Qdt only specifies top-level packages installed as dependencies, so there are no packages that depend on those (which is what -c would remove).
As I understand it, -n prevents the removal from leaving .pacsave junk behind in the database.

Aye. It does. Thanks. ![]()
This is 100% safe, right?

The command itself is "safe" in the sense that it will only remove the packages that 'pacman -Qqdt' returns, but only common sense and research can tell you if the packages from your 'pacman -Qqdt' are truly safe to remove.
For example just a few days ago, this was a case where it would clearly not have been safe.
