I have no sound on my kdemod 4 after kernel 2.6.27.1-1 update

i have put the following in my rc.conf file

MODULES=(!snd_pcsp !pcspkr !snd-pcsp acpi-cpufreq cpufreq_ondemand cpufreq_conservative cpufreq_powersave sky2 iwl4965 snd-hda-intel snd snd-mixer-oss snd-pcm-oss snd-hwdep snd-page-alloc snd-pcm snd-timer  soundcore loop fuse vboxdrv tun)

still I have no sound

I always used to get sound with no alsa in my daemons list

I put @alsa in my daemons list and still i do not get any sound.
Does anyone else experience this problem?

Check the levels in alsamixer.

Thanks Mr.Elendig I had one of the front channels muted in kmix, I have no idea how it happened automatically.
i will close the bug report too.
