/var/log/auth.log error re dbus SOLVED

Hi,

Oct 22 21:16:01 t61 gnome-keyring-daemon[2993]: error connecting to D-BUS system bus: Failed to connect to socket /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket: No such file or directory

The above error runs continuously in /var/log/auth.log (edit: the error message has disappeared)
Can someone tell me what it means please?
I have the daemon 'dbus' in my rc.conf and it runs fine with '/etc/rc.d/dbus restart' and the keyring is working fine as far as I know because it asks for my password to start my wireless connection.
I did notice a similar error on boot just before the daemons load. (edit: that's disappeared too)
Everything seems to be running well after the update to kernel 2.6.27 and Gnome to 2.24.0 on my T61
