Radeon R200 [8500 LE] Direct Rendering

At long last! I have my ATI Radeon R200 graphics card running. For anyone with the same problem, read the OSS Driver guide here:http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/ATI … TI_Drivers. It works like a charm. DO NOT TRY THE PROPRIETARY DRIVERS!! They will not load.

After configuring the OSS drivers run:

$ glxinfo | grep direct

it should return the following:

direct rendering: Yes

Now I'm off to play Cube!! Have fun! Hope this helps some poor idiot like myself who didn't find the ATI wiki page!

EDIT: CUBE runs great! Now if only more ppl were online, this card can't handle Sauerbraten in Win, I should try Lin
