Hi fellow archers, I've problem with Samba, I can't connect to shares created inside my home directory. Can connect and browse shares created in /media, or everywhere else. Can mount /home/myusername/publicshare in /somewhereelse, share /somewhereelse and connect to it, but can't directly connect to the shared /home/myusername/publicshare
Does someone know a solution to this? (a clean solution, as using the mount somewhere else trick is... a trick)
NOTE: rights on /home/myusername/publicshare are 777, owned by myusername and group is users.

Ok, problem due to the fact that /home/myusername has 700 rights... suppose i can at least set 711.
Just out of curiosity, is that a right way or there is some better way to configure samba/users/groups to accomplish the same thing (almost forgotten to say that that directory is shared in "shared mode" and not "user mode" in smb.conf, and that it needs to be writable by other users)
