Qemu/VDE Networking

I can't find anything on the Wiki or Forums related to setting up networking with Qemu and Virtual Distributed Ethernet.  I've got bridge networking already running, but I am interested in playing with VDE.

Is anyone on the forums using VDE with Qemu.  I've found some tutorials on the web and VDE's website, but am looking for some comments from arch users (pros/cons/pitfalls).

Thanks

Re: Qemu/VDE Networking

It looks like there is a good number of VDE users in Arch - the VDE package in AUR has received 11 votes. I would also appreciate some feedback on how well VDE works in Arch, and how difficult it is to set up.

Re: Qemu/VDE Networking

I needed to set up a virtual server to serve as Apache server to the LAN.
http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Qemu
On the 'Nitty Gritty' section; I cant get past the part where it says to 'modprobe bridge'... FATAL Module bridge not found.
I have all three of the mentioned packages. Is anyone else able to do this or help?
