That can send text reminders to my cell and utilize wakealarm so the system doesn't have to stay up. Any recommendations?

Google Calendar can do this but doesn't have a "todo list" concept yet (there are scripts that will use Jan 1st, 1970 for as a placeholder for this). Todoist can work together with iRemind to send SMS reminders. RememberTheMilk can also support SMS reminders, if I recall.

Tasque supports RememberTheMilk..

+1 for Todoist and RememberTheMilk.
OT: Is there any other way to add a task to todoist, other than the web UI? I don't want to use the web UI on my windows mobile phone as GPRS is just too slow.

I tried RememberTheMilk/Tasque but I can't seem to set specific times, just dates, via Tasque, and using RTM to do that, if it supports it via the time window dealy, kinda defeats the purpose of using Tasque. Maybe I'll screw around w/ qt and bash to get something w/ a graphic front end that'll use crontab and wakealarm... But probably not.
Thanks for the recommendations btw!

Have you heard about todo.txt? If you are going to try and mess around with bash, you may want to use it as your base. It's got a few IM bots that you can use, perhaps interfacing Jabber or AIM with your phone to get what you want.

I was looking at tomboy w/ the reminder plugin, since it shouldn't be too hard to have the reminder reminder send mail something to my cell, but since todo.txt and Remind already allow for that, laziness wins again! It doesn't have support for wakealarm, but I don't think anyone does and that shouldn't be too hard to get around via a bit of scripting. Thanks!

+1 for RTM. Great tool and nice integration with Gmail

Looks like that could help you, not tested though.
Ah cool. I ended up writing an email->todoist script anyway. I'll post it when I get a chance.
