After I upgraded to Gnome 2.24 from 2.22, my system freezes as soon as the keyboard is used. It is only Gnome that freezes, if you restart X with CTRL-ALT-BACKSPACE Gnome restarts and works until you use the keyboard again.
I do not use GDM, but start Gnome by using mingetty --autologin from inittab, and running startx in .bash_profile, and gnome-session in .xinitrc. I run Arch-64.
I also run Xmonad which works perfectly.
Has anyone experienced anything similiar, or have any ideas on how to find the error? Is there any Gnome logs that could say anything? dmesg is silent.
