Problems with lircd

Hey Guys.

I building my MythTV mediacenter at home and instead of having keyboards and mouse - I want a remote control instead.

But having some problems.
After buying a DVB-S card from Hauppauge (HVR-4000) and placed the card in my Backend. But there was also an remote control along with that.

As far as I remember (getting my mce_usb2 to worjk - was just plugg it in.

But now I'm running into problems.Carse I cannot get it to work:
dmesg:

I've now installed lircd and lirc-utils - but when running the command: irw - nothing hapens (like on the machine with the mce_usb2.

I've copy the file /usr/share/lircd/remotes/lircd.conf.hauppauge to /etc/lircd,conf.
I've tryed to read a bit about it in the wiki - but as far as I can tell here - I'll need to rebuild the driver and afterwards try again.

But would that work with this infrared reciever?? or how should I do this little trick

Just getting better .... All the time
