I only noticed this yesterday although it maybe be older than that.
When I boot up, I can switch between the login consoles without any problem. Once I start X however, if I either jump back to a login console with ctrl+alt+F1-6 or I kill X with ctrl+alt+del, the screen enters powersaving mode and goes blank. I can still type in "startx" to bring X back up. I haven't had this issue before.
I'm on a desktop with a flatscreen monitor, using the latest NVIDIA drivers. I suspect that this is connected to the kernel update a couple of days ago (kernel26-2.6.27.4-1).
Does anyone have any ideas what I could be causing this or how I can fix it?
