Local Subversion repository

Hi,

I'm trying to follow this eric tutorial. The place is to be svn://localhost (?); there's an error (Subversion Repository Browser):

svn: Can't connect to host 'localhost': Connection refused

which is hardly any surprise, since I never did anything to set up an SVN server. I looked into Webmin interface: there's a CVS server there, but no SVN. I checked the Wiki: nothing about setting up the SVN server.

Sorry if it's a dumb question, but I'm quite new to the concept . Any suggestions?
