a few questions before a possible come back to arch

hello there,
it's been a while (about 2 years) since i last came here.
i'm about to come back to arch, and i've got a few questions (i intend to do a 64-bit install on a laptop with fakeraid) :

- i've read that community repo is not yet ported to 64-bit ; does this mean its port is not complete or is it not ported at all ?

- is there any other caveat when it comes to running a 64-bit arch ? (apart from those mentioned in the wiki)

There really shouldn't any worries where hardware is concerned. My hardware is quite similar. The only differences are that I have Intel GMA950 graphics, and your Marvell network controller is a bit newer. Everything works right out of the box for me, so it should for you too.

thanks everyone for your answers. i'll drop my ubuntu as soon as i get enough spare time.
@peart : i'm confident most hardware should be functional, as it is already using other distros. Except for my nvidia graphics… (it seems to be unstable lately, maybe because of nvidia drivers and/or recent kernels… it can't be worse anyhow.)
