SDHC goodness

I had a nice surprise today, It seems that my Ricoh R5C822 SD card reader supports SDHC (class 4) as well! big_smile Anyone else?

I guess I have the same card reader you do but why is it such good news that it supports SDHC (class 4) ?

SDHC cards can get huge (theoretically, now they're already up to 32 GB afaik), SD cards can't.

OH!!! Now thats more like it big_smile
But .... not many people would be able to read it and .... I can't boot from my SD (I think) so .... 32GB USB Flash drive for me then tongue
If 2GB can host a recovery intended install of arch (maybe with more stuff than just the essential to do recovery) imagine what 32GB could do big_smile

I could have explained myself a little better. tongue
I mainly use my 16GB SDHC card in our digital camera. I was glad to see the reader worked w/ it because my wife and I are some picture taken' fools! big_smile
