It seems something is broken with xml2po...

as a matter of fact if I simply type xml2po (from gnome-doc-utils package) this is what I got:
lorenzo@nemesis ~]$ xml2po
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/xml2po", line 35, in <module>
import libxml2
ImportError: Bad magic number in /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/libxml2.pyc
Where is the problem? Gnome-doc-utils or libxml2.pyc that doesn't belong to any package (must be a compiled python extension or something...)
Thanks for any suggestion.

same problem here with brasero-no-gnome

The solution seems to be (at least it worked for me): rm /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/libxml2.pyc
(or...if you don't want to remove it...move it somewhere else)
Cheers
