XOrg doesnt start

Hi, my X.Org derver doesnt start anymore after an full upate of the system,
i looked into the pacman.conf but there was no message that I have to do something special after updating
the problem is that he gives me no error message i can handle with,
in the Xorg.0.log there is no (EE) message, and the console told me:

waiting for X server to begin accepting connections
.
giving up
xinit: Connection refused (errno 111): unable to connect to x server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): Server error

I have searchd for errno 111, but everyone how had this message has also an EE message, with I dont have,

the things I knew are:
-the message/problem is the same when i start as root or as normal user,
- for a second I can see the nvidia logo, before he goes back to the console
- i reinstalled the xorg groupe but id doesent help
-after I installed arch some months ago i custemised some setting-files in etc

i would be happy if somebody had some idears where i can search for new info about the cause

Did you try to restart gdm/kdm or what you're using in the console?
That does the trick for me, my screen something stays black we gdm is started and it turn black for a secode while in X from time to time

Hi,
I use console (startx), and I have no gdm/kdm installed,
normaly i use startxfce4

Can you post your /etc/X11/xorg.conf?
