Hello,
I had a problem with libgphoto2, "Fixed limit exceeded", which seems to occur when there is more than 1024 files in a directory !
To fix that, I just read debian/patches/70_increase_max_entries.dpatch which sets the limit to 8192 by replacing the value in src/libgphoto2-2.4.3/libgphoto2/gphoto2-list.c
line 75 was
#define MAX_ENTRIES 1024
is now
#define MAX_ENTRIES 8192
I've build the package with this "patch" and it seems to work perfectly...
My only problem is I don't know how to do that substitution in the PKGBUILD, I did it by hand...
I would like to create a package in AUR, something like libgphoto2-nolimit !
Thanks for any help,
regards

You could file a bug report and ask for this to be changed in the main package.
Probably only needs:
sed -i "s#MAX_ENTRIES 1024#MAX_ENTRIES 8192#" src/libgphoto2-2.4.3/libgphoto2/gphoto2-list.cto be added.

Should be ok in 2.4.0 according to this bug :
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.ph … tid=108874
So I don't know...
I created a libgphoto2-nolimit in AUR, if someone need that !
Should work...
