yaourt: sudo, AUR

Hi,

A couple of newbie questions (already tried the site):

(1) Does yaourt require sudo for building packages from AUR in user mode?

(2) Where does the building process take place? If it's a package from the ABS tree, probably in /var/abs, right? But suppose the package exists in AUR only; where then?

(3) Does yaourt do cleanup after bulding by default? After an attempt of building a library I found only a package in /tmp; nothing else smile .

If there's some intro on how yaourt works (building process), a link is welcome smile .

Re: yaourt: sudo, AUR

(1) perferable, but it can use su too (afaik)
(2) /tmp/yaourt-tmp-<user>
(3) I assume not...
