I can not seem to get sound to work with flash, video plays fine.
I have searched the forums for a fix and I have not come across one that has worked.
Sound does work with Amarok.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Welcome to the forums melojo.
Start whatever browser you're trying to use Flash with from a terminal and see what it's complaining about.

Thanks for the replay,
I should have mentioned that before posting, but I get no error messages when staring firefox from a terminal. I checked mixer volumes (master, pcm, and video) all mentioned are turned up.

Just in case: if you use oss4, you need flashpluginsupport-oss

Thanks for the replies!!!
Flash doen't have support for any audio device rather than /dev/dsp0 . So if you're trying to use usb audio or another audio device, try turning the main one on.
This is a laptop with built in audio, so no external device.

Installed libflashsupport for oss support but no dice.
What config file does flash use to find sound devices or exactly how does flash no what device to use.
