It seems that KDEMod freezes every time there's high CPU usage. I can't really say I have logs to track it since I wouldn't know what to look for, but I can definitely see some 10-20 second freezes and/or extreme slow-downs when I'm playing some flash games or using a resource-heavy program like Photoshop. The screen is completely frozen and there's no response from the mouse. I just have to wait, which I guess is bearable, but if anyone has found a way to work around it that would be great!
I'm using all up-to-date packages and a vanilla kernel, and last I saw of this problem it was fixed by updating (but it didn't help me). I'm booting with nolapic_timer noapic irqpoll, the first two being recommended for my Dell Vostro on the wiki for having problems with the 2.6 kernel.
Thanks in advance!
